SUNDAY 10th FEB KANAKA IKAIKA race series  Hawaii Kai- Magic island 10 mile race
After saturdays sprint race our elite team rider Ingo Rademacher competed in the Kanaka Ikaika race, a 10 mile down wind run from Hawaii Kai  passing  Diamond Head, Waikiki Beach and finishing in the marina at Magic Island. Ingo took 1st place in the unlimited class in a time of  1:44:16   and 2nd overall behind Arron (Kaeo) Abbey.  "Hawaii Kai runs are difficult, there are many different lines you can take to Diamond Head which is about 7 miles away, it's not my home run so I have some learning to do.  Overall it was a lot of fun with great wind and it's nice to get a good result. Congrats to Kaeo for taking 1st place! "
