YOLO Board offers SUP camp in Hawaii with team rider Ingo Rademacher!

Camp YOLO Board Hawaii is a one week long stand-up paddle board race enthusiast camp, located on the iconic North Shore of Oahu. From June 30-July 7 our trained staff and guides will lead daily paddles, workouts, and training all focused around a fun SUP race that takes place during the week. The natural beauty of the countryside serves as a stunning backdrop for not only stand up paddling, but also for just kicking-back and enjoying the Hawaiian lifestyle. At Camp YOLO Board we emphasize "ohana," and pride ourselves in treating our campers as members of the family. Come and experience Hawaii with us YOLO Board style, because "You Only Live Once!"

Camp YOLOboard Hawaii is an exclusive SUP enthusiast race camp which is limited to only 12 persons. The camp is designed to give our guests the opportunity to live Hawaii, to have a vacation, and above all to provide a SUP experience like no other. We aim to help to further develop your paddling technique, allow you to practice your downwind paddle skills, and to teach you race strategy in order to prepare you for the race. We supply all equipment including YOLO race boards and paddles, or if preferred, a more stable recreational YOLO SUP board.

A typical day starts with a 50 minute YOGA for athletes class, a great way to stretch and prepare for the day. After breakfast settles,(we supply Breakfast and Dinner each day) we will take you on either a training paddle, pre-race course paddle, destination paddle, or a beach workout & swim in Waimea Bay. Other activities might include, hiking through the rainforest, snorkeling excursions, or just checking out the island. After lunch, which is a 200 yard short walk to either Sharks Cove Grill, Pupkea Grill, or Food Land Deli, you have the option of relaxing, hitting the beach, exploring, or going on another work out with us. At dinner-time we will all get together for a great meal that we will prepare, have a drink or two, and talk story, "Hawaii Style". Included are 2 healthy meals a day, Breakfast & Dinner, introducing you to some of our local cooking.

Although we provide the basic structure for the day, all activities, of course, are optional, and you will have plenty of free time. You can use our bicycles and go exploring yourself along our 3 mile long beautiful bike path that starts right across the street from Camp YOLO and stretches past Sunset beach, check out the Polynesian culture center in Laie, or explore historic Haleiwa town close by.

Our camp director Makani Christensen, a native Hawaiian, is a trained waterman, SUP racer, and lifeguard. When not running Camp YOLO Board, Makani owns and runs his own Island adventure company, "Keawe Adventures." (Please read more about Makani HERE Keawe Advenuters will be running the entire Camp and Makani and his staff will be your guides and instructors.

Allow us to pick you up from Honolulu International Airport (HNL) and take you on a 45 minute drive to the beautiful North Shore, home to the most famous surf spots in the world during our winter months. In the summer the North Shore turns into a gigantic swimming pool with light breeze down wind runs that make it the absolute perfect spot for Camp YOLOboard Hawaii!
