ONE DAY Kalama Kamp-San Diego March 31!

Kalama Kamp announces details of the new One Day Kalama Kamp to be held in San Diego on Saturday, March 31st, 2012. One Day Kalama Kamp is an all day SUP camp featuring private instruction, beach workout, specialized drills, breakfast, lunch and much more. The One Day Kalama Kamp offers the unique opportunity for SUP enthusiasts to experience a day in the life of one of the world’s greatest Waterman.

“People were having such a good time and learning a ton at our week long camps that we wanted to provide a more accessible option for people to participate in our Kamps,” added Dave Kalama, Founder of Kalama Kamp. “The camps are adaptable for all skill levels and ages and designed to help you achieve your top potential in both your paddling and fitness levels.”

One Day Kalama Kamp will include one-on-one instruction from Kalama, the Hawaiian Big Wave Surfer and Windsurfer who is considered one of the driving forces behind the reemergence of stand up paddling into the water-sports arena. Kalama is also credited with the co-development of tow-in surfing and has appeared in films including Step into Liquid and Riding Giants. The other instructor will be Brody Welte who has created the comprehensive fitness program called Paddle Fit. The camp is limited to 10 spaces allowing for an intimate, personalized experience.

The One Day Kalama Kamp will take place in San Diego and reservations are currently being accepted for this exclusive opportunity. Cost for the Kamp will be $500 per person and each participant will need to provide their own equipment.
