We are excited to announce the addition of Texan paddler Tyler “T-Marsh” Marshall to the YOLO Board Race Team. T-Marsh joins the always-growing team of elite standup paddleboard racers that compete from coast to coast. An accomplished athlete, T-Marsh recently finished 2nd in the 12’6” division of the Hanohano Huki Ocean Challenge in San Diego, CA on February 18th.

“I’m very happy to be a part of the YOLO family, a team that defines what it means to both professional and communal. I am also excited for what this means for the growth of the sport for the state of Texas,” said T-Marsh.

The 2014 WPA Region 12 champion in the 12’6” division, T-Marsh has been racing since 2008. He is the founder and owner of DFW Surf, a surf shop and paddle school in North Texas that provides year round paddle and wake surfing lessons, camps and boat charters on Lake Grapevine. In addition, he is also an editor at Boarders Magazine and a watersports consultant. The Dallas native still resides in North Texas where he is an integral part of the local watersports community.

“T-Marsh exemplifies the qualities we look for in a YOLO Board racer,” said Jeff Archer, YOLO Board founder and CEO. “He is a super athlete with a both positive attitude in life and an undeniable stoke for the sport of standup paddleboarding. He works daily to spread awareness and bring the SUP community together, and we’re excited to support him and watch him race as part of the YOLO Board team.”
