Adventures of Dancing Bear Day Three

Sorry, I'm giving you a quick summary of day 2 events...We haven't had a lot of time or internet signal to be doing any work. Lets just say Saturday was filled with YOLOing, eating, waiting for Mark Salvetti, more YOLOing and more eating...Mark was lucky, he was able to catch waves his first day here...Saturday night's dinner was some of the best barbecue ever prepared by Alvaro himself....

Here is a quick run down of the crew: Dancing Bear (aka Dave Meadows) in case you didn't know already, Chandler Williams (Modus Photography, Brody Welte (Owner of Stand-Up Fitness Inc.), Madra McDonald (M Public Relations), Phillip McDonald (TableFive chef), Mark Salvetti (Mr. Inspiration), Gustavo Chinchilla (Mr. Red Bull), Alvaro Solano(Owner and Operator of Vista Guapa, Michaele Foster (YOLO/Tour Guide) and finally Jeff Archer (Mr. YOLO himself and man that made this possible). A special shout out to Mark Salvetti for hooking Jeff and Alvaro up to make this all come together. Also thanks to the YOLO back home for getting all of our gear down here (great job Kyle on packing). We miss all of you and hopefully next year everyone can come....

Ok, enough mushy stuff, lets get back to the good stuff ,"YOLO". The schedule around here for the next few days is 6:30 dawn patrol YOLO sessions for a couple of hours and then a kick ass breakfast that hits the spot. Then we take 1 hour or so break to rest and then back in the the water again...Sometime in-between sessions we have to eat so Jeff and Brody don't pass out... Chandler and I have already shot over 2 thousand pics and video combined, so that tells you our resting periods are nothing but downloading and editing to the computers...Chandler broke out his water housing for the morning session at Hermosa and got over 800 awesome pics...Chandler is the man, he got worked over real good a couple of times just so he could get the best shot...Thanks Dude...

Our afternoon session was @ one of Jaco's northern breaks were sniper fire from the jungle broke out many YOLOers were hit...Don't worry no one was seriously hurt...For those that don't know, sniper fire is when Standup paddlers fall off their boards for no reason at all....Jay you would be proud of your wife, Michaele caught a couple of awesome rides and stayed out there for almost two hours...Mark informed us all that when Brody and I were out of the water he was finally able to catch some waves...What are you trying to say Mark?

For some unknown reason we were hungry again so it's off to downtown Jaco for some pizza, ceviche and beer...I can't understand why so many people dislike Hawaiian pizza, Brody and I tore it up and Chandler helped a little...After our late lunch we headed back to camp and cleaned up for dinner @ Jaco Taco, yes that is the actual size of the burritos....Dancing bear could not finish it....At some point durning dinner Mark asked how I got the name Dancing Bear and I had refused to tell the story again, so Brody decided to call me Guy the French-Canadian (that's Guy with the French-Canadian pronunciation) the rest of the night. That was pretty much it for day 3 as we all just crashed hard for the night.
